The Altitude Suite ocean front provides stunning ocean views that are absolutely mesmerizing during sunset. Spaciousness of the room allows for comfortable lounging after a long day in the sun.

The buffet's food quality remains mediocre at best, and bar service leaves much to be desired—drinks are weak and arrive in small glasses. Seating and cleanliness issues abound, with stained chairs and inadequate sun loungers that force guests onto the sand without drink service. Noisy environments mar relaxation, with loud guests and poorly located staff radios disrupting the otherwise breezy atmosphere. Additionally, housekeeping seems lackluster—both moldy chairs and a curtain with holes suggest maintenance could use an overhaul.

We had a mixed experience at Krystal Grand in Cancun. The location was perfect, close to everything. The oceanfront view from our room was breathtaking and really added to our stay. The time share presentation was too aggressive for our taste, so I'd recommend skipping it unless you're interested. Getting bar service was a bit of a challenge. it often took too long for someone to come around. In our room, there were not enough hooks in the bathroom, making it tough to find space for our things. The mini-bar wasn't stocked daily with beer even though we requested it. While we had a fantastic room layout, these little inconveniences added up. Overall, the experience was good, but there's room for improvement.

the elevators were super hot (it was uncomfortable). the beach was clean and beautiful the staff was friendly (especially the bartender at the pool). enjoyed dinner at risotto and the drinks by the pool were great.

The Ocean Front corner suite was the highlight, those floor-to-ceiling windows gave a view that was just amazing. The friendly staff went the extra mile, they even whipped up special vegetarian options just for us, which was rare and appreciated!

It wasn’t inexpensive, but honestly, for what we got, it was fair enough.

However, the air conditioning issues affected comfort significantly, resulting in multiple room changes without resolution, and common areas felt overcrowded with inadequate elevator access. Despite these challenges, the food was enjoyable, especially the hamburgers, though service may not consistently meet expectations for special requests like steak doneness.
